Sweet Museum: activity programme of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo for Easter
MAH Educational Service | 3 April, 10:00 am–12:30 pm; 2:00–4:30 pm

Massas sovadas are inseparable from the Holy Spirit celebrations. However, at Easter, enriched with eggs, they also have a place on the traditional table. These are folares, breads celebrating friendship and reconciliation, accompanied by a beautiful legend.

In this workshop, led by members of the Agualva Social Group, participants can knead their own folar and learn about the Portuguese legend said to be at the origin of this Easter custom.

Activity organised in partnership with the Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence Unit of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Praia da Vitória, within the framework of the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations.

Free participation, limited to 20 children.
