The Friends of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo Association
The AAMAH was founded in 1993 and for several years carried out activities supporting and promoting the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo, such as collaborations with the RDP/Açores delegation on Terceira Island, including two series of programmes on culture and heritage, and with the newspaper Diário Insular, producing a monthly supplement. The association also created the AAMAH Underwater Archaeology Group, which played a key role in the early underwater archaeology surveys in the Azores. Due to various circumstances, the association gradually lost momentum and eventually suspended its activities. At the beginning of 2024, taking advantage of the 75th anniversary of the MAH, it was finally reactivated.

Felix The First
This is the solo project of the artist João Félix, from Terceira Island, who grew up in a family with strong artistic ties and was inspired by his grandfather, the poet Emanuel Félix, his older brother’s records, and his father’s classical guitar. With his acoustic guitar and stories to tell, Felix The First follows the tradition of old troubadours and singer-songwriters of American folk and blues.
