On 21 January at 14:00, at Carmina | Dimas Simas Lopes Contemporary Art Gallery, the MAH Educational Service will host Discovering Photography. This workshop aims to explore the vocabulary and language of photography, covering framing, composition rules, and some technical notions. Participants will also take a brief journey through the history of photography. By the end of the session, children will understand that a good photograph depends not only on the camera but also on the sensitivity and vision of the photographer. The activity concludes with the creation of a small album or portfolio, allowing participants to put into practice what they have learned.
This activity is intended for children and young people aged 8 and above. It is recommended to bring a digital camera of any type, including a mobile phone. Participation is free, but prior registration is required via telephone at 295 240 800 or email at [email protected]
