The history of silk Educational Service 1 April, 2pm-5pm In this workshop, we will tell the ancient story of the most exquisite of all fibres, prized for its softness, shine and strength, and learn about the life cycle of the silent and tireless weaver that produces it, the silkworm. Then, as it is spring, we will make silk flowers to adorn ourselves or mark our books.
