Opening – Lugares da Paisagem: riscos, manchas e memórias (Places of the Landscape: Lines, Spots and Memories)

This exhibition is the result of the artistic residency project by Luís Herberto and Luís Geraldes, held at Carmina – Dimas Simas Lopes Contemporary Art Gallery, from 1 to 24 July 2025. The project transformed this exhibition space into a laboratory for experimental research in drawing and painting, with the landscape/memory relationship as its reference.
It aims to create a dialogue between experimental research and the resulting reflections—namely, lines, spots, and all kinds of chance occurrences, which play a significant role in the artistic process.
