MAH, as part of its partnership with Lapinha Fest, produced by Geokids, is hosting a musical show in two sessions dedicated to children aged 0 to 3, where they are treated as an active and engaged audience. The repertoire is diverse, including works by composers such as Monteverdi, Bach and Mozart, as well as jazz, traditional Portuguese music, world music and improvisations. This project, produced by Musicalmente, has already toured several concert halls in Portugal and abroad, and is recognised for its innovative and respectful approach to babies and their families.
The core artistic team for Concerts for Babies includes:
- Paulo Lameiro – Direction and voice
- Alberto Roque – Baritone saxophone and ocarina
- José Lopes – Saxofone alto, soprano e cavaquinho
- Pedro Santos – Accordion
- Isabel Catarino – Voice
- Inesa Markava – Voice and movement
Each concert lasts 45 minutes and is intended for babies up to 36 months old, accompanied by their families.
