Canasta goes to the Museum 2023

At the Carmina – Dimas Simas Lopes Contemporary Art Gallery, the museum will be hosting a canasta tournament organised by the Confraria da Canasta da Ilha Terceira (CCIT), which includes a guided tour of the exhibition space.
The CCIT aims to promote canasta on Terceira Island by organising and accompanying various tournaments and championships at local, regional, national and international levels. It also maintains a Canasta School, where the rules and mechanics of the game are refreshed and covered.
