18.º Festival Internacional dos Açores | Revisiting the Germanic Baroque

This recital will embody the German Baroque at its most splendid with the unavoidable genius of J.S. Bach, who will feature as the central piece of the programme. We will also enjoy works by G.Ph. Telemann, the composer who wrote the most works for the recorder as a solo instrument. The programme by G. F. Händel includes a sonata originally written for recorder, which was adapted to a lower flute for this recital. A vastíssima obra deste compositor é um marco na história da música.
It should be noted that the MAH is hosting this free concert as part of the 18th Festival Internacional dos Açores, an event that brings some of the most renowned artists to emblematic locations in the Azores.
